Speakers present their research findings or application-oriented papers to a qualified specialist audience and benefit from direct knowledge sharing with experts from science and industry. Anyone representing a company can also strengthen the visibility of their own service portfolio within the EMC community. At the same time, the event offers a wide range of opportunities for targeted networking.
The accepted manuscripts will be published as citable open access publications with DOI in the digital EMV Proceedings and in the repository.

Presentation formats as part of the conference program
The EMV 2026 offers various formats for presenting research findings, scientific work and current developments to a specialist audience. There are a total of six types of participation to choose from, which differ in terms of time required, target group, citability, first publication and possible award nomination:
On the one hand, classic conference contributions can be submitted – either with or without a full paper. A poster presentation also offers the opportunity for direct interaction with other speakers and attendees, and may be submitted with or without an accompanying full paper.
In addition, contributions can be submitted for practical workshops that enable intensive dialogue and knowledge transfer on specific issues.
New format: Experiments & Demonstrations
As part of the Experiments & Demonstration Session, attendees will have the opportunity to present practical content to a broad specialist audience for the first time. The latest research findings can be demonstrated using devices, prototypes or illustrative experiments on EMC basics.
An additional advantage of this format: The session is not only part of the conference program, but is also open to trade fair visitors, providing the opportunity to present specialist content to a wider audience from industry and application practice.
Recognition of special professional achievements
As part of the EMV 2026, prizes will be awarded for outstanding submissions. The Best Paper Award recognizes the most innovative paper at the event. In addition, up to three Young Engineer Awards will be presented to young engineers aged 35 and under.
The nomination is based on the submitted abstract. However, an evaluation is only possible if a full paper is available. Both the quality of the content of the manuscript and the presentation of the paper during the EMV 2026 will be taken into account for the final selection.
Detailed information on the submission criteria and the submission portal can be found on the website.
